Action Upon Receipt of a Valid Notice
Once a proper infringement notification is received, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user or content provider responsible for the material about the takedown.
- Provide information on how they can respond with a counter-notification if they believe the material was removed in error.
Submitting a Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed under the DMCA, you may file a counter-notification. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content that has been removed and its location prior to removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Repeat Infringer Policy
OTE News reserves the right to terminate the accounts or access of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
