Edgewood College courses will take place solely online for the remainder of this spring semester, following many other campuses in their responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The president’s council made the decision on March 19, Interim President Sister Mary Ellen Gevelinger said in an email to students, faculty and staff.
Online courses will begin March 23.
“This is a disappointing decision for all of us, and one we had to make to provide safety and good health for everyone in our Edgewood College Community,” said Gevelinger.
Many are struggling with uncertainty at this time.
“We will ensure you are updated as things change, which they will,” Gevelinger wrote.
Community members have been told to continually monitor their Edgewood email accounts for updates.
