RACINE, Wis. – Alejandro Sierra, once listed among Wisconsin’s Most Wanted, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after being found guilty of killing his girlfriend, Alexis Fisher.
On Friday, May 9, Sierra received a sentence that includes 40 years of initial confinement followed by 10 years of extended supervision.
A Racine County jury found Sierra guilty in March 2025 of first-degree reckless homicide in connection with Fisher’s death, which occurred in April 2023.
Authorities say Sierra shot and killed Fisher during a domestic dispute. Her body was discovered near Spring and State Street in Racine on April 15, 2023.
At the time, U.S. Marshals described the case as a “malicious violent domestic abuse incident” and warned the public that Sierra was armed and dangerous. A warrant had been issued for his arrest on charges of first-degree intentional homicide with use of a dangerous weapon.
Sierra, 30, had distinctive facial tattoos, including the word “Miracles” on one side of his head, a rose on the other, and the initials “H.B.K.” He remained at large for several days, prompting an intensive search by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Racine police.
He eventually surrendered on Thursday, April 20, 2023. According to Racine police, a deputy conducting a routine traffic stop at 9th and Center spotted Sierra, who came out of hiding and turned himself in.
Prosecutors revealed during the trial that a witness saw Sierra shoot Fisher in the chest. After the shooting, Sierra briefly checked on her before fleeing the scene. The gun used in the killing was later recovered by police.
A Racine County court commissioner described Sierra as “a grave risk to the community.”
