PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday afternoon at a hotel in north Phoenix.
Officers responded to the Red Roof Inn near Interstate 17 and Bell Road around 2 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When police arrived, they found a woman who had been shot.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later confirmed they believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
