Project Sunshine Offers Pumpkins and Paint Night

By Lexi Roh

OTE Assistant Editor

Project Sunshine starts off the year with a growing membership and a new event called Pumpkin and Paint night that will be held on Oct. 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Nona McGreal Room in the Predolin Humanities Center (PRD 302).

The campus organization focuses on hospitalized children, and it provides Sunshine Boxes containing games and activities at no-cost to area hospitalized children.

Attendees at the Oct. 22 event will have the opportunity to decorate a pumpkin for their homes and socialize with snacks available.

Attendees need to RSVP for the Oct. 22 event to club President Desirae Weisenberger at dweisenberger@edgewood.edu. There is no charge for the event.

Club members will continue to pack Sunshine Boxes monthly and students can join by contacting Weisenberger at dweisenberger@edgewood.edu.
