Edgewood College Alumnae Compete in 2022 Winter Olympic Games

Edgewood alumnae Becca Hamilton ‘14 and Nina Roth ‘12 competed as a part of the USA Women’s Curling team at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing this month. 

 

 

The team placed 6th out of 10 teams, losing to Japan with a match score of 10-7, shortly after defeating the Canadian team 7-6. Hamilton and Roth also competed in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics Games of 2018. 

 

 

Hamilton has made 4 World championship appearances in addition to her 2 Olympic appearances. She participated in mixed doubles curling in the 2018 Winter Games alongside her brother, Matt Hamilton. 

 

 

Roth has 3 world championship appearances so far in her career.

 

 

Both alumnae reside in McFarland where they are members of the Madison Curling Club. 

 

Becca Hamilton graduated from Edgewood with a degree in Education. Nina Roth is a graduate of the Henry Predolin School of Nursing.
